◆Award Details 2:

Achievement Title: Securing External Funding Accessible to Both Administrative Staff and URAs, and Fostering Collaborative Research with Faculty Using These Acquired Funds
Awardee: SHIRAI Takashi (Research Management and Administration Section)
*Co-recipient: OGURA Takayuki (Research Planning Division, Department of Research Promotion)

To support young researchers taking on new challenges, a new project has been launched where administrative staff and University Research Administrators (URAs) work side by side. This initiative assists researchers engaged in “interdisciplinary research,” connecting different fields to pioneer new research areas.
Furthermore, research exchange meetings will be held to build a university-wide network that transcends roles and disciplines. These meetings provide a space for researchers and staff to engage in direct dialogue, fostering future collaborations and cultivating seeds for new ideas.
This project not only supports researchers but also aims to contribute to the growth of administrative staff, enhancing their skills and strengthening their role in university operations.
