2024 Faculty Development Program “Current situation of open access publishing and open access publishing support provided by Osaka University”

This on-demand course is part of the "Research Capability Development Program" of Osaka University's New Faculty Training Program. We welcome all interested faculty members as well as new faculty members to take this course.

This course consists of eight short videos, as below, which will show you the history and current situation of open access publishing. The topics include rising prices of ejournals, appearance of open access journals and hybrid journals, and problems of predatory or pseudo-journals. This course also gives you information on the support that Osaka University provides for open access publishing. (The videos are in Japanese only.)
