【Naedoko Grant】 FY2025 Round 2: Call for Applications Coming Soon (Application Period: September 5–October 2, 2025, noon deadline)
The Naedoko Grant supports early-career researchers in establishing their own unique research themes, particularly those aiming to become the next generation of Principal Investigators (PIs). It promotes interdisciplinary research ideas born from brainstorming sessions (referred to as Young Researchers' Brainstorming Sessions).
We are pleased to announce that the FY2025 Round 2 Call for Applications will open on Friday, September 5, 2025. We welcome applications from researchers eager to incorporate interdisciplinary perspectives and take on the challenge of creating novel research directions.
Call Overview
Application Period: Friday, September 5 - Thursday, October 2, 2025, noon
Eligible Fields: Open to all fields. However, proposals must stem from ideas developed through a Young Researchers' Brainstorming Meetings and aim to address social issues through interdisciplinary collaboration.
Eligibility: Early-career researchers seeking to establish new research themes in preparation for becoming independent PIs. Eligibility requirements apply.

This grant is part of the Naedoko-platform, an internal incubator operated by the Office of Management and Planning. The Naedoko-platform was launched following the University of Osaka's selection for Daiichi-Sankyo’s “Habataku” Support Program for the Next Generation of Researchers (FY2024).
