  He received his B.E., M.E., and Ph.D. degrees in systems engineering from Kobe University. Since 1986, he had been mainly engaging in the research and development of communication systems at NTT Electrical Communication Laboratories, and later involving in the management of information systems' development projects at NTT. Since 2015, he has been working for Osaka University toward the enhancing of the university's management and research capabilities.

  Katsuji pursued his career at business planning in Sumitomo Electric Industries, Ltd. since 1988, mainly engaging in R & D of energy equipments and new business planning. He received the IEEJ Technical Development Award in 1997, was appointed as a member of the ERAB Committee of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry in 2016 and part-time lecturer at Osaka University in 2018. After managing as the General Manager of the Planning Department of Energy Systems Division of Sumitomo Electric Industries, Ltd., he joined Osaka University in January 2020. He has qualified licenses as First-class radiation protection supervisor and Qualified person for energy management.

  He graduated from the Department of Business Administration, Faculty of Commerce and Economics, Kobe University of Commerce. After graduation, he gained sales experience at a private company before joining The University of Osaka as an administrative staff member in 2011. Since then, he has worked in departmental administration at the Joining and Welding Research Institute, the Graduate School of Engineering, and the Graduate School of Medicine; in headquarters administration within the Research Promotion Division and the Finance Division; and in the establishment of the Center for Infectious Disease Education and Research (CiDER). He has primarily been engaged in research promotion and financial management. He assumed current position in January 2026.

  She graduated from the Department of Philosophy and History, Japanese History Course at Osaka City University (now Osaka Metropolitan University). She worked in the Revenue and Claims Management Section of The University of Osaka Hospital. After that, she was involved in the receipt and execution of Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research ＜KAKENHI＞ in the Graduate School of Law and the Graduate School of Engineering. She has been in her current position since July 2025.
